Following the footsteps of Gurgaon Rapid Metro, the Mumbai Metro has decided to go for traditional sources to raise money and bring association of advertising-branding with metro projects much close. Mumbai metro phase one project will be the second urban infrastructure project in the country to use station branding for non-fare box revenue collection. The Mumbai Metro is currently e-auction naming rights of 12 of its stations on the Versova to Ghatkopar line. Full story
